If you’re wondering how my strategy, ghostwriting, and coaching work plays out in real life, here are some examples of my client projects.

As a ghostwriter, much of my work is published under my clients’ names, so it can be difficult to show you the exact finished product.

Write the first draft of a book in 45 days

I was Carolyn Swora’s writing partner for her second book Evolve. She had an initial 15,000 words but was stuck and had looming deadlines from her publisher. We worked together to restructure the flow and completed the first draft rapidly so she would have time to layer in additional stories in a subsequent draft.

Our collaboration was like “half ghosting,” with the writing published in the final draft coming from both of us. In 2024, Carolyn’s book won a Business-Leadership award from Maincrest Media.

Update website copy to reflect new brand visual energy

Stephanie Woodward, Founder of Agency to Change, was working through a refresh to her brand visuals with an updated website. She needed website copy that not only reflected the energy in her new visuals but reflected her positioning and work impact. One of the taglines from this work, “Have your work cake and eat it too” reflects Stephanie’s commitment to helping people prevent burnout and return to loving their work, as well as how wonderful it is to work with her.

Build brand value with bi-monthly eBooks

This client has built their reputation on providing great advice for their clients but it was buried in project deliverables.

I wrote a 4500-word eBook every other month for a year and a half to help them build a collection of packaged content they could share with a new category of clients, allowing them to provide tangible, measurable value in an easily shared format.

I can’t share the specifics but please reach out if you would like to see a sample of my work.

Book coaching in support of a first book launch

I worked with author and Women’s Leadership Intensive founder Belinda Clemmensen ahead of the launch of her first book, Women, Leadership, and Saving the World

She had great support from her publisher for all of the mechanics of her book launch (like the cover art, upload to bookseller sites, etc.). We completed a series of coaching sessions to talk about her business brand-building in support of the launch of her book.

Launch new business division with white paper

A client was adding a new, distinct division to her growing business and wanted to be able to share the depth of her experience and research in the area. The topic was also the basis for one of her keynote talks and showed her leadership in an emerging trend.

I wrote a 2500-word article based on her research that highlighted the depth of her experience and knowledge on the topic. The PDF article could be used as a lead magnet on her website as well as attached to proposals and speaking pitches (both keynotes and podcast guest pitches).

Launch first book with microsite and white paper lead magnet

I worked with Stephanie Woodward in the months leading up to the launch of her first book, The Big Scale Back. She needed a microsite to share more information about the book, as well as sell copies in various formats.

We also created a white paper PDF to help her increase her email list subscribers and build interest and excitement for her new book, as well as generate new client projects for her business.
