Land Acknowledgement

Shift Wisdom resides on unceded and occupied lands, on the traditional territories of the Indigenous Peoples of the area and the Upper Canada Treaties. 

We live and work in close proximity to Indigenous communities and would like to acknowledge them, including: Anishinabewaki, Haudenosaunee, Attiwonderonk, Mississauga, Missaugas of the Credit First Nation, and Wendake-Niowentsio. 

Note: I am continuing to unlearn and evolve my knowledge of Indigenous communities and the history of the land where I live and work. If you have feedback for me or suggestions for changes to make, I welcome them.
